    Woodgrain Hyper Sports?

My track and field cab has a big piece of woodgrain as an internal cabinet piece that I momentarily considered chopping a piece from to fix the corner of my time pilot project. Both have identical grain patterns and look to be a match for your Dbl Dragon/Lode Runner cab too. I have huge...

    Dynamo HS-9 Advice

Thanks Chance! Once again, great photos and appreciate the local pricing info. You shared your flickr previously regarding my Track and Field project and while I snooped through a bunch of it I hadn't remembered those. Next time I have a question I may just start with your Flickr!

Awesome info Don, that's more than I could have hoped for! Really appreciate you taking the time to share your knowledge. I'll do my best to get this done and home and will report back.

    Dynamo HS-9 Advice

I'm heading out to look at what I believe to be an empty HS-9 or HS-8. I'm not sure I've ever seen one, but I just spent the last couple hours reading up on them here, going back a lot of years in some of those threads. Every one with substantial contributions from @DonPanetta. Thanks Don and...

Where are you at dgg? That's not the way I like to do it, but someone here in Alberta shares your predilections... https://www.facebook.com/share/1ErUpcLsyZ/

    New Members - UGH

I don't think that's made up. He isn't even the first one to do this. I have the perfect machine for him and only $1400! I wrote him to this guy to see if he's still got the obsolete CRT and PCB...

Joystick hole size for Pengo CP?

Thanks @Arcadenut ! And for the record. I am a new member working on a Pengo - but not the one who ghosted Zud on his Pengo PCB!

Joystick hole size for Pengo CP?

I'm assuming the joystick hole should be either 1 1/8" or 1 1/4" diameter. My only other Sega/Gremlin CP is a Moon Cresta, so not much help as a reference for a joystick hole. If anyone has an original they can measure, or can otherwise confirm the hole size it would be greatly appreciated...

    New Members - UGH

I'm a new member here, but a vet in a couple other forums on topics unrelated to arcade. I understand the frustration of trying to help people who are incompetent and/or ungrateful. It's actually pretty frustrating to not have a lot to contribute, but my skills and parts inventory are...

XSTO 550 lbs Electric Stair Climbing Hand Truck - Any Reviews?

I see Home Depot now sells it in the US (but not Canada). So you can probably order one and return it to the store if it turns out to be a piece of junk. If anyone can test drive one it would be greatl to hear a credible review. I'd do it myself, but sadly my Canadian purchase options don't...

That smell of ozone and popcorn… it hit me today. 🎮

Your post reminded me of another sensory perception that I never get to experience anymore - the sound of an arcade worker counting out quarters from that belt mounted coin dispenser. I need to find one of those!

Anode Cables tied in a knot???

I certainly don't mind. My question has long since been answered. I'm also in for a few pairs of anode cable spacer rings....need to work on the name!

Anode Cables tied in a knot???

Maybe a dumb question, but wondering if there's any specific meaning to this? Obviously it shows that the anode cap has been removed and monitor worked on, but wasn't sure if it indicated that it had already been rejuvenated or something.

    WTB: Buck Rogers Parts

I know we're going back a long time, but did you ever find your bezel? I just saw this busted piece of junk listed in Saskatchewan on marketplace. The Buck Rogers bezel looks to be the only thing of value on it - still in the original cabinet. https://www.facebook.com/share/1LAvhziJFz/

    PacMan Google

Of all the bastardizations in this thing, the most offensive is the PAUSE button. Part of the allure of arcade games is that you focus all your efforts until your quarter is toast. This is why I kind of hate freeplay...even though I use it.

Canadians - Where are you getting your basics from?

No hate at all! We're all just caught up in bureaucracy and it's the poor games that will suffer if we can't get the right pieces to the right machines!

Canadians - Where are you getting your basics from?

Thanks guys, I was already depressed about my shipping fees and now I'm pondering our dystopian future! All I want is to be left alone on the farm with enough parts to finish my projects.😀 Community first is great advice. I do need to put more effort into that front. Are there enough of us...

Canadians - Where are you getting your basics from?

I've got a few projects on the go after having been idle for awhile. I'm shocked by how difficult it is to get the basics to the great white north nowadays. Many of the US places I used to order from don't ship to Canada anymore or if they do, it's at least $50 shipping for small items...

Thanks. I bought some Rustoleum Deep Blue which was recommended as a match, but haven't tested it yet.
