    I, Robot #158 Restoration

I thought the same thing, but it then (like you said) it would be the argument of 'all original' vs. 'venting the monitor'.

    I, Robot #158 Restoration

not to butt in, and I know you can't do this with a Firefox, but got a machine in the I Robot style that the base was broken in along where the sides are. What I ended up doing was re-building the box/base and adding this to the interior box for support, with the sides directly under the upper...

    I, Robot #158 Restoration

Heavens! nor was I asking you to. :) I was fishing for others that may have experienced it. Until now, I was like you, I thought it was done after the fact.... otherwise, what was the point of the bolts?

    I, Robot #158 Restoration

Hmmmmmm....... This what I was referencing. I took all the bolts out and the head would not budge. even after a couple of big rubber hammer strikes...... I eventually let it be. It was a Firefox cab also. leads me to think this is a Firefox thing, unless anyone has experiences to the...

    I, Robot #158 Restoration

Hmmm.... Was it just the 4 bolts? Mine has issues beyond that, I may have to try again.... use a bigger hammer.................

Boy Howdy, so do I. they were good for that kinda crap. I still have 'component cooling' and 'Control/Contact Cleaner & Lubricant' sprays from there...................

    "Trashed" Tron Restoration

I'll be honest, when I saw the running time, I was debating the commitment I was going to have to make, but it is a hazy, lazy Sunday, so I watched it, and have no regrets! It was complete, I'll give you that!

    "Trashed" Tron Restoration

That was quite the labor of love. When it started, I was thinking holey crap that IS trashed. But, all the work involved REALLY brought it around! As a bonus, you were able to salvage some of the parts. Heh, wore me out just watching it, but also inspired me to work on some of my stuff. Chhers!

    Robotron-ish

and the other side. did it in the garage this time because of the fumes this time. I went a little over 24 hours and the edges dried a little....... still a little more cleanup to do. The darker tones has me interested, I figured the 24 hours would give me an even color. but, I think it is...

    Robotron-ish

Kinda went full Charlie 2 weeks ago and it turned out okayish. Still need to strip more, but the damage under the black paint was tolerable. Pro tip: don't do this in yer house, I didn't go blind, but I also opened up and ventilated the house. I say -ish, because it is going to be a Jrok...

    T-Moulding Question

I will also add, also remember, on the other 'corners' just a slice will do (It allows for maximum grip). and by that I mean, a corner that bends the other way (not sure how to describe it). I use a boxcutter or a little straight edge knife.

Amazing! That is the first time I have seen anyone do that. Its on my to do list, but my plan was to use a bad shape xevious marquee as a template.

Has anyone used Talon2000's Pac Man stencils?

a year later and I finally came back to it. Handy Tip: When you get stencils, use them right away, do not let them age 11 years. They went on fine, but the masking had bonded, and was difficult to remove. and, as a bonus, Ithink I lost the kickplate stencils, so I had to buy a new set from...

Has anyone used Talon2000's Pac Man stencils?

I bought a set roughly 10 years ago and am now ready to use them, but I cannot figure out how they go down. The Black and Red layers look like they have reference marks, but the blue layer doesn't appear to have anything. I tried messaging him, but it appears he hasn't been on in over a week...
