Hey,
I'm looking for a cabinet (JAMMA) with a working monitor (horizontal) in the Richmond area.
Also interested in buying many other games, so PM / post with what ya got in the area for sale!
Brett
Hi,
I am a fairly new arcade enthusiast, and am planning on building my own MAME arcade cabinet and system.
After some research, my plans are as follows:
Use my Guerrilla War Cabinet (JAMMA+) and monitor, hooked up through USB and VGA to my computer using the J-PAC board (...
Here are the pics on a new host.

I've contacted Bob, and he will switch out the fuse for me, so he'll send the 2A with the kit.
I still do not see bulging in any of the caps. I'm a little worried that it might...

What does that wire do?
Thanks,
Brett
OK, the chasis is off now. I found the HOT, but don't have anything to test to see if it works. Could I buy a multimeter at radioshack? We never figured out what was the piece in the second pic I posted. Is that necessary anywhere?
There are no bulge / burns anywhere in the caption area, or...
Thanks for the explanations, DogP.
What exactly should I order? So far, I've got:
WG K7000 Flyback Repair Kit
WG K7000 Cap Kit
Did you say I would need to get a 2A fuse as well? I see Fast and Slow Blow's.
EDIT: Also, on the neckboard, there is a wire that looks like its going no where. Its...
Alright DogP. I've looked at the board, and it sounds like I'm going to have to take off the chasis board, under the neck board. Will I have to unplug everything from it? Also, I do not see screws to take the flyback off the board.
I did not see any slots for the HOT to go in. Do I have to...
First, thanks a whole lot. I found the repair kit for the K7000 on Bob Roberts for only $28.
Just a few questions:
Does HOT stand for something? Where is the flyback located? Could you post a picture, describe it what it looks like, or where it is in any of the pictures I posted?
Thanks for...

I am not sure if you have the correct monitor. I saw a "zenith"...
Found what could have been some fuses on the small board of the chasis, but there were three and they were all soldered correctly. Not sure what to check now. I am going to take some pictures and post them to illustrate what I'm looking at.
Edit: Now that you say they are glass tubes with a...
Where is the "Montor Chasis" located in the cabinet? Is that the metal bars holding the monitor in place? I see a board direction connected to the monitor tube / funnel part. Then below that is another larger board with knobs for adjusting monitor settings. I found, what I think to be a fuse...
I did see what looked like a fuse just laying in the cabinet, but I didn't see where it fell from / where it went. Are they on the board with the monitor controls? Where is the chasis, and I do not know what a "slo-blo" or "glass fuse" is. Didn't see anyting bulging / leaking.
Thanks for your...
