Re: Please Help! Driver board burning out on Gorgar. Sounds like you need to replace that transistor and possibly an accompanying resistor on that driver board. At least you can follow the flame and see where the trouble is at... and that is half the battle. There is a good guide for that era...

This would be the formed bezel variety that has depth... this one if for a Tempest.

What is the best way to package one of these up? Seems crazy to ship it intact in a big box and have to pay more for shipping than the actual item...

I was performing the cap kit mod on the HV board. I purchased the kit from Bob Roberts and noticed that C1 and C2 in the kit are 1000uF caps (HV board). Everywhere else I have looked it looks like it calls for 470uF at these positions. Should I be concerned about the different values for these...

Excellent instructions, Ken! Everything went beautifully according to plan and I now have a fully functional marquee light on my DK. This man knows what he is talking about!

What does it look like? I didn't see any pics of it even on the KLOV space for the game... must be rare!

Has anyone had any experience with a trying to save a flaking cabinet? I am looking at buying a pin that has been in storage for some time. The sides are intact but are beginning to flake in long strands, probably due to the changes in tempurature over the years. Can this be saved by any means...

Is the manual for the Promax C1000 / Weiya the same as the one for the GO7? I can find the latter... not so much on the first pair If you have one, shoot in on over! (also your flow chart for the K4600 would be handy if you don't mind.. that one is next in line! )
