The little bit of information I can find on the net tells me that on the game board, U119 could be the issue with the PCB not sending a good Sync to the monitor. I read that it was a 7432 IC. I got some but they are a totally different chip. I guess I need the SMD 7432. Can anyone provide some...

And, for the record, I did look here but did not find a Police Trainer board repair person...

So, I guess the obvious question is where can I get the Police Trainer board tested/repaired?

I tried the H pot, the V pot, the DIP switch and everything else I could think of. The monitor looked good on the guy's bench so I'm starting to think it's not the monitor. I appreciate the help, though...

I had problems with this game and thought it was an issue with the monitor. I purchased a K7400 which I saw work on the bench, but I still can't get a good picture. Can I assume at this point that it's the game board itself? I tried all the recommended fixes that I could find.... Thanks in advance.

Since everybody told me to drop the Chinese board in the toilet (it won't flush) I've been working on the K7000. Now, no picture, I've blown another HOT and VR and the cement resistor at R103 gets red hot right before the circuit breaker I'm using trips. Where to look now, please.

Ok, one step forward, two steps back.... Now, I lost the "picture" I had. Therefore, I looked at the neck. R213 has a jumper and that gives me a continuity reading of .1 ohms with that hooked up. Is that supposed to be there? It "kills" the effect of a resistor. Pardon my lack of knowledge...

I have checked the continuity of the sync wire but I will again. I will also look on the board for a jumper or switch. Thanks.

What about the "double" picture? They both roll and I have tried the sync wire in 9, 10 and both. No change...

I remembered that I have a 60-game JAMMA. This is what I get now with a very slow screen roll...

I swapped in another Hor pot on the board and this is what I get now, fluctuating back and forth between the two. Sync is on 10.

According to the JAMMA pinout and my continuity meter, I have the correct sync wire. Tried pin 10 and then pins 9 and 10 together. No change. Where to now, please?
