I remember that one. Had Rod Serling on the backglass smoking a cigarette, the open door with empty stars and space beyond it... Memory fades though, maybe that's just what I think it looked like...
There's only one arcade machine I'd ever need if I were to ever be lucky enough to track one down. A 1986/87 Williams Black Knight 2000 pinball machine. THAT is what would complete me. I have no idea what pinball machines cost. it would probably scare me to discover that lol.
Yeah for a little while, He wound being planted at the South Portland store where I worked, and the regional guy's name was Mike, a larger guy with a mustache. He was cool. I worked DM '87-89 a little after you.
Remember that jackass we had for a boss? Dennis was his first name. Tall skinny guy also worked at Happy wheels in Scarborough. Arrogant prick he was, seemed to be always hanging around with the under-age girls, remember him?
You guys are gonna laugh. I'm in Western Maine 6 miles from NH border, but it's easy for me to get to Old Orchard beach where the only known functioning arcade I know of is still there.
Ok, now for the Ultimate in idiot questions ready? Do Public arcades really exist anymore, and and if they do, why can't i find one? I'm so effing jonesing man. LoL
Is this a forum for people with the large real arcade machines, or is it also for mamers? I've read alot of the back pages of posts and most talk about buying, selling, owning and fixing the cabinet uprights.
YES! This was the fix. Thanks so much for your help. This forum is great. I've been looking for a place to discuss this stuff with people for some time now.
Isn't that just blanking wonderful. That just says to me:
"Hey you guys, we got this problem, it should be taken care of right, now, but let's make it worse. Then it'll be fun for everyone."
(This seems to be the thought process at the place I work also)
Ok, I dLed it, and yes it seems to be very unfriendly towards me. You say I can scan my entire roms folder? The thing I'm having trouble with is how to tell it which folder to go after. There's no New/file/View/Options/Tools tabs in the window it opens into, so I have no clue how to get it...
