I will definitely clean the board with white vinegar to neutralize the alkaline battery corrosion. It's only visible on the upper left corner, but I agree it would be best to just clean the entire area.

Agreed about AA batteries. Although on my pinball machines I installed AA lithium batteries a while ago and have had no issues. I should check their voltage, though. Yep, the NVRAM kit looks to be $15. The lithium 2032 battery approach does look easier overall.

Are most people replacing battery holders with the lithium watch battery kit? How about installing a new holder with 3 lithium AA batteries? Or, are most people going the NVRAM route now?

Hi all, I have a K4600 monitor that has some of the symptoms described in this thread...mainly, it is longer vertically on the right side of the screen (see picture). Where should I start with trying to fix this? The previous owner said he installed a cap kit, but all I have is his word. Thanks.
