I have that same model MSI mobo... what you want is the original v1.08b image, you could upgrade to 1.34U but you will need a USB dongle in addition to the LPT dongle.
if this was "Gold" before and didn't have the USB dongle then it was likely 1.38D (AFAIK the only other version that doesn't...
color emissions look decent, nothing on here leads me to believe that the guns are failing.
I think there are two issues. 1 is a purity/convergence issue
the other is something with the chassis that is causing a bit of bleading/ contrast adjustment issues.
Even though it did get a full recap...
I bought a KI2 cabinet back in 2013 (build thread link in my sig) This had a WG U2000, that was non working.
I rebuilt the chassis with a new flyback and a high-quality cap kit and did my best to converge the monitor (for some reason the previous owner stole the yoke wedges out of it and really...
Based on what is left of the label and the serial number I think that is a Beast Busters Cart, which would explain why it wouldn't work on either mobo since those are the wrong mobo versions for Beast Busters.
you can confirm 100% if you open up the shell on the cart and read the chip labels.

Video of the process:
since then the programmer was condensed into a tiny PCB that fits between the Kabuki chip and the mobo...
There are other means now. Including Tools to reprogram the Kabuki after a battery replacement, and an "Infinity key" that installs between the Kabuki and the PCB and reprograms it on boot.
Both allow you to retain the original encrypted ROMs and no PCB modifications.
