    There were only 6 socketed chips (presumably the ROMS - SV02, SV04, SV06, SV09, SV10, SV0H). I tried reseating these, reseating the ribbon connectors, and giving the edge connectors a quick rub with a pencil eraser. I also checked the voltages on the other edge connector 5V and 12V were ok...

    Thanks for the tip. The soundboard doesn't have any socketed ICs. I'll check the other two layers tomorrow, and let you know i get on.

    I've just put a meter to it. I'm getting 12.11V and 5.09V going to the board measured at the top edge connector. I feeling more confident it's a PCB thing and not a PSU problem. Maybe RAM/ROM? Anyone want to have a go at repairing it if I send the board? I'm based in the UK.
