I re-read your original post. You're doing a tribute to the 25 inch monitor versions. I didn't have brackets with mine either.. but I used some wood on the inside and it was rather easy.. You will have to trim back some of the bezel art.

Some Galaxians came with a 25 inch monitor. So yes. It fits.
