Trying to figure out what this cabinet used to be. It currently is branded as a Q*Bert and has a Pandora Box CX with LCD monitor. I purchased it this way a few years ago and just haven't done anything with it until now. I'm planning to rewire, repaint and re-decal this.
We've got a Pinnacle crane. Picked it up non-working. Finding out that everything works, except the claw itself doesn't close. P1 connector on the board pin 14 (claw 36v +) and pin 6 (claw 36v -) are metering practically nothing. Pin 14 metered to ground reference is also zero. We've got 36...
Hello. I realize this thread was last updated a year and a half ago now, but I've recently got a Slam Dunk game and looking for some assistance. I'm wondering if anyone has a PCB schematic for this game?
Also, if I could could close up pics of the PCB so I can compare to what I have that would...
Well it looks like the answer is, our hardware does not match up with the PCB/firmware. Somewhere along the line someone swapped out the PCB. No big deal. Now that we know what the issue is, fixing it is the easy part. We're eliminating the switches mounted at each arm motor and placing them...
Thanks! Honestly that's the direction we're leaning toward too. We're going to rig it temporarily to act as though the switches are at the end of the arms. I'll report back.
Yes indeed we are getting a 004 error. I did meter the switches and they are all closed. However now that I think of it, I didn't test to make sure they change state.
Our machine does not (and appears to have never had) the switches at the end of each arm. We do have microswitches at the motor that counts the revolutions of the spiral rod. Do your machines, that have the switch at the end, also have a switch at the motor? See pics
My son and I have a small business and just recently acquired a slam dunk. We were told that it was not working but the previous owner didn't know exactly what the problem was. Looking for anyone that has experience with one of these games. We have the manual and it's indicating that the prize...
