Yup that hasn't changed. It's hold P1 start button down while coin up to exit any game. What I did with my machine is just lay the P1 credit microswitch inside the P1 coin return. Much nicer then drilling and adding that extra button but that's all personal preference. Kind of annoying to exit...

Have you gentlemen replaced the ceramic resonator on the PCB?? It drives the audio and has been prone to failure. It solved my TMNT audio issue same as your describing. Cheap from digikey. Shipping going to cost more then the chip. Small square blue looks like this
