Today's question is; Can I test my spinner encoder board with a multi-meter? My TRON boardset is out for repair and due to possible COVID exposure I can't test my CP in my buddies...
Expanding on this a little further. I just fixed 5 drifts for an operator friend and found something interesting that I haven't had time to determine the root cause.
When using a power supply other than the OEM one in the Dell computer, the watchdog pcb isn't able to turn on the power supply...
After doing some burn in tests tonight, it looks like this does not work.... :(
