That is a nasty hack! I redesigned it with a GAL instead: http://www.seanriddle.com/scx.html It also has a disable input so you could use it in an old-school multigame, but I don't think too many people build those any more. If there's demand, someone could whip up a nice little PCB.

There is a sound/speech mixer pot on the speech board that you can adjust. I'm guessing you have volume up pretty high and the mixer set to mostly speech, so the other sounds are quiet. The "c" is correct on the LED for Sinistar; don't know why. Sean
