1. Possible new free game!

Well, hell, getting practically anything for free is damn cool, especially if its a video game. I'm not a big Playchoice fan but I wouldn't complaing. Hope you get it.
2. Monitor question

A lot of newer monitors use a switching power supply instead of the standard linear one. For some reason that I cannot remember, this eliminates the need for the isolation transformer.
3. Monitor question

Yellow might be vertical sync. Composite sync may be run into both the horizontal sync and vertical sync inputs on a monitor or just the horizontal sync input. It depends on the monitor. White is probably composite sync.
4. Wow! Smallest Jamma board ever!?

<blockquote><font class="small">In reply to:<hr /> The wierd part is that it's JAMMA and it's SEGA !! Yeah, that is strange. I didn't think of that at first but you're right. What did Sega make (besides this) that was actually JAMMA and not System whatever?
5. Starship Troopers: Thoughts, feelings?

I got everything all back together on the Starship Troopers and realized there was one wire that I didnt have fed through a hole in the playfield. Of course, the hole was wayyyy under the damn ramp assembly. I had to remove it almost completely so I could remove a plastic and feed the wire...
6. project machines for cheap or maybe free

I've got a trailer reserved and they said it was actually on the lot. Its the kind I wanted. Hopefully they will do as they said and still have it there for me. They told me that they will be able to sell me an adaptor for the trailer lights to hook it up to the truck. Shacklefurd - I...
7. Anybody ever see or play this pin?

There is a Krull video game in the shop. It has a bad power supply and don't know if the rest works. I don't think there are many of them not sure about production numbers. Its a good looking machine, in nice shape and all.
8. project machines for cheap or maybe free

I am going to get a flat bed trailer. I have heard that they are pretty cheap. Much less expensive than renting a truck and a tow dolly. I know someone that has had great success using a U-haul flat trailer to tow 6 games behind a cruddy minivan. I will be using a '98 F-150 pickup to tow the...
9. WG4600's

I've had several 4600's in various games that I've had. They have always seemed to work well for me. Ken's right though, they are a pain to do a cap kit on. There are a lot of caps and having them spread across seperate boards isn't much fun. I also always reflow the solder connections on...
10. Pin Bot, any good?

I've only played it once but it was pretty cool. I vaguely remember something about a moving section of the playfield near the back. Not really sure.
11. Getting ANOTHER Sprint 2

Yeah, i was just crappin' ya. We only paid $15 for the game and got $20 for the board, so hey, $5 ahead. Better than nothing.
12. G07 kicken my NADS!!!

Rule of thumb: if you have a picture on the screen, the flyback is ok. A picture on the screen (even a really distorted one) means that high voltage is present on the anode of the tube. Since high voltage comes only from the flyback, it must mean that if there is a picture, the flyback is...
13. Getting ANOTHER Sprint 2

Man, you could have had ours for $15 cause nobody bid on it. Its still in the shop and will probably continue to sit there for a while.
14. Wow! Smallest Jamma board ever!?

I've seen 9 in 1 multi boards that are the same size.
15. Price check Star Trek with bad monitor

I would pay more for other stuff, probably. I just know that G08s are a pain in the ass. Thats why I wouldnt pay much for a broken Star Trek. New price: $free
