I see post #6 replied that they believe they're not the same boxes and post #21 the KLOV user seems confident that these are all the same boxes. I don't see any other replies about it.

The 500 Superior Performance Products is the brand name that Atari used on most of its racing games. Even the 4 spoke Pole Position wheel has "The 500" brand name stamped on it.

Now that i see the pics of that Indy PCB I think that one is the Namco compact system 1 hardware for a cocktail and you have the Namco cockpit version board for Roadblasters and not a bootleg. I think the pinout might be the standard Namco (Galaga).
I had issues similar to this with 800x600 and higher games. i think the fix was replacing the memory. It maybe needed 1gb or 512? and i had old 2x512/256 sticks that were causing the problems but i can't remember exactly it was years ago.

Roadblasters came with two different wiring setups from the factory, the older has an Atari power brick with 2 big blues and an ARIII with volume pot.
