Unfortunately it's not MOON PATROL. It must be one of those obscure games that appear and die without trace. Pity, i really liked it and was the record holder where I live...

Vertical shooter (1982-3 i think) where the spaceship resembled a tyre seen from above (colored red) that could jump craters and shoot other spaceships and where every now and again an invincible ambulance arrived (siren blsting) from below and could destroy your ship if touched. Thanks alot...
