Yes I know that, I'm basically trying replace some burnt to a crisp boots with trashed springs. I want to replace the whole boot assembly with a more robust diode and solder the anode wire to it, then wrap the ends with some 3M 103C. The VARO's are brittle as hell and difficult to solder to.
Hello all, I know this has been discussed before but wanted to verify if anyone has successfully used a NTE527A or NTE505 diode in G05-802 and V2000 monitors? Also, can you post a pic of how you mounted them in the cage as they're a bit longer than the factory diodes.
