    so advans13, are you in now? Latest Dexter blog post and Facebook post both show video proving that Merlin+Dexter integration is working and will be available to customers who pre-order. I'd post a link but apparently I don't have privileges.

    Pre-orders end at the end of February. Production begins in March. Shipping begins in April.

    Dexter has the same connectors as the original laserdisc player, which in this case, is a BNC connector. Getting a BNC to RCA adapter is not a big deal if needed.

    I agree. The market is small and these boards need to be ordered in bulk to be cost effective. The combination of these two factors says that it would be unwise to wait.

    That would depend on how the first run goes, how many people would be interested in a second run, etc. In other words, there is no guarantee.

    As I said in another reply, I don't think there's much difference once Daphne is running, but Daphne requires an operating system to run which usually takes a minute to boot up. This kills the illusion that the game is exactly what people played as a kid in 1983. Dexter does a much better job...
