I picked it up to affirm but mainly boast about what I got for my HUO Moonwalker but immediately humbled that it was under market. Followed by compounded humiliation after noticing how rare Monster Bash is considered. I got rid of both MB cabs under 200.
After 7 years of abstaining from buying another cabinet I got 4 for free yesterday at a house remodel. Contractor wanted them out by any means so that meant my truck into my storage unit. Big Blue with X-men, Area 51,25th anniversary PAC Man, and a golden tee in a Konami cab(?). Didn’t want to...
I remember the last time I bought a game like 7 years ago I tried to pick up a UMK3 in a dynamo for spares. The guy after the fact decided to google and amended his price because he found a guide with no pictures and checked klov for pictures and figured his was original.
My friends wife thankfully shut down the idea of buying an arcade1up because it was tacky looking so I gave him a spare Mortal Kombat, Tekken, and some other boards with a test bench setup.
But it left me without any working MK soundboards. 5 in a cab and 8 or so in storage and all not...
Virtua Fighter & Virtua Fighter 2. I’ve been looking for over 15 years, 5 of which refreshing multiple times a day. I could count on a centipedes hand how many I’ve seen for 100 dollars or less in working to pristine condition on the opposite side of the country sit for weeks and months. I never...
There is a slight graphical glitch on start up and after attract mode cycle, but it seems to go away. I’ll run through it later this week for a while and see what happens. But doesn’t affect gameplay or sound from what I’ve tried.
I didn’t do this conversion but did service battery in 2021.
I have a spare board that likely works but no roms.
I forget which ones are interchangeable but originally I thinks it’s a world warriors or champions edition
What do they go for now a days?
I didn’t realize I accidentally sold all my II’s with the cabinet and pretty sure lost the 4’s in one of the hurricanes.
That Mario came out great I really miss having that cab around. Today I have been cleaning and testing some pcb’s I’ve kept at friends and families houses. First time in a year I’ve played at all since selling nearly all my sega and capcom stuff and moving across the country.
MkII,MK3,WrestleMania,GoldenAxe Revenge,Spiderman,Turtles In Time,DK,KI2, and Circus Voltaire completely destroyed. I had them stored in a friends basement in Queens. Two or three mkii pcb's floated up and are seemingly salvagable and without corrosion. I'm only upset about MK3 because it was...
I love those Capcom Cute cabs. If anyone has one in florida... I'm at family's house where I keep my pinball games. They say they don't mind and I can confirm that because the odometer is averaging 8 plays per day over the last four years. Also...
The easiest way to tell the difference is the bat patterns in stage 1. I haven't seen a K upclose/in person before so I'm not sure the rom or hardware differences and I don't have it in front of me but I don't recall of any identifiers on the test screen.
Did you ever track down a CPO yet?
