If you are looking to replace joysticks for a fighter, I would highly recommend the Competition model. It is much better than the Ultimate model.
I use the Competition ones on my Virtua Fighter 2....excellent.

I didn't see any Sprint 8 on Saturday at California Extreme. The closest thing was a Championship Sprint 2 (I think it was a conversion).

This is very common, especially with fighters. I had the same thing happen to my Virtua Fighters 2. Just replace the microswitch. Use a new one.
