I have a cocktail cab which the innards have been butchered to fit a later jamma board. It now contains Konami's Flak Attack, rather than space invaders :(
The problem I have is that once the machine has been on for a while the CRT suffers interference and a smell of burning circuitry...

The game is flak attack, but i'm certain it was not in the cab originally. The monitor is the real problem at the minute as it's stopping me getting in to clean the innards.
The green clip in the pictures is wired to the monitor as is another on a different pcb. So i'm...
would isopropyl alcohol be found in nail polish remover?
if not, do you know where to get large amounts of it?

I'm having problems dismantling a cocktail cabinet. I can't get the harness off the game pcb (is there an easy way?).
Also what is the correct way to remove the crt?
