This tripped me up on my Comet: Comet uses #63 (6v) bulbs in the backbox for the “fireworks”, but the flashers on the playfield are #89 (12V) bulbs. Both bulbs look nearly identical and fit the same sockets. Use the wrong bulbs in the wrong place and they could be blowing instantly.

The guy has already told me "these things are going for $1800 when they work" so I'm not expecting a good price. :-) The pin is not working, according to the owner. Made him an offer based on the non-working condition and bad photos in the ad. That's when he sent me the pictures of the inside...
