I think that eventually, we'll see cheap LED film that can be stuck to a real CRT tube like a decal. Then it's just a matter of making the same images in software to make it look exactly like a CRT.

It's not really that bad of a game - however, you have to play a "real" one (MAME doesn't do it justice).

Great book BTW - I read this a year ago and loved it! Lots of real-life ups and downs in there too, which make it much more than just a nostalgia novel.
