Craftymech tpg not outputting an image

I'm actually having the same issue except I put a brand new Energizer Max in mine even though the one that was in it is still good. No image. Haven't tried dipswitch 5 yet. I do want to mention I had it hooked up to the monitor before turning the monitor on, turned the monitor on and when I went...

    K7000 chassis compatibility

All of the K7000a chassis I've seen look the same, do you have pictures of the differences? Even the SI k7000 clone has the same layout, only differences are the remote board and neck board hookups other than that the layout is pretty much the same and the parts are interchangeable.

    How to test a flyback?

You actually need the datasheet or documentation on the flyback you're testing which shows the pinout you can then see which pins correspond to the windings, you then test each winding, the tester will tell you if a winding is shorted, good or open. You can also watch this video to help you...

If you're not looking into running newer games with 3D graphics I would go with a Raspberry Pi Retropie setup if you go with a Pi 4 you can probably run the newer games as well. It's super easy to setup. What kind of games did you have in mind?

***** Potential SCAMMER Alert - UserID LoneStar

I never pay F&F, I'll cover the fees myself a few bucks is worth my piece of mind. If I did pay F&F it would be to someone with plenty of reviews but even those can go south depending on that person's situation.

    K7000 intermittently displays.

I would replace the capacitors but specifically C56 and C57, I've seen those cause the intermittent issues you're describing sometimes and since they appear to have the original factory glue they're long overdue to be replaced.

Loud pop and smoke coming from Monitor Board

I can't see a crack in your IC and that capacitor definitely blew, I don't know if you noticed this but diode D304 blew, that thing like really blew, I wouldn't be surprised if that one lead is shorting to the diode above it.
