Everdrives and Powerpaks are amazing things. There's a smattering of games that are unplayable, but cheap enough to buy (Castlevania III for example).

To be honest, I was a diehard FF fan. FF1/ SNES (US) II and III. When VII came out, I lost interest and never looked back. :( You made no mention on V. (available on Playstation 1 or 2, I forget). So many character classes!
