I've got 9 full size wood cabs, and then 3 smaller japanese candy models all spread out. So I'm probably looking at a load under 2500 pounds for the whole apartment just for cabs. But then again I don't have any heavy duty bookcases or an entertainment center etc.. So it should all even out.

ok. The heaviest cab I have is probably 320 pounds (6 slot neo geo). has a wide base. I guess having 20 friends over for a party would actually put more stress on an apartment than a few cabs would.

could arcade machines pose a threat to structural intengrity of an apartment on a floor above ground level? I live in a garden apartment (wood frame). Have a few dedicated older cabinets. I have them spread out to disperse weight, but how much is too much?
