I put three coats of wax on IJ, waxed and polished the balls and I cannot believe how fast it is now, almost too hard to play, it changed the entire feel of the game and it shore looks purty...

I was cleaning my W IJ today and noticed the playfield isn't like my other machines. Is the surface paint with clearcoat? I don't see any mylar lines anywhere.
Is it OK to wax this surface? I'm sure it's OK if it's clearcoat, but I really don't know what the surface is, any help would be...
