Greywolf is absolutly correct. The chassis goes with the yoke. BUT as long as the neckboard will fit on the tube, you can swap out the tube. I've done this many times, using old TVs as the donor of the new tube. if your going to transplant, use the convergence rings from the new tube...

There is no need to plug one end of the discharge tool into the wall socket. It should be run to the monitor *frame*. It's like discharging a big capacitor. The outside of the tube is one side and the hole the anode wire plugs into is the other side. Best, pcb
