  1. New arcade !!!!!!! wow!!!!!

The idea for D&Bs was formulated somewhere in Arkansas if I remember correctly just as was said above, restraunt/bar guy and arcade guy noticed that their patrons were going back and forth. They picked up shop, moved to Dallas, bought an old warehouse, and opened the first D&Bs at Walnut Hill...
  2. Anyone here going to the Dallas auction?

I hope I get to go. At the rate my wife is going, they probably will induce labor and I will become a dad that weekend. Oh well, didn't really have any money for games anyway. Plus I really don't feel like hauling them up to my 2nd story apartment. Did that last weekend because of the Pinball...
  3. Pac Man: The Movie

I heard about this on the radio this morning and thought it was joke, guess not. From The Hollywood Reporter: PAC-MAN, the quintessential '80s video game, might find its way to the big screen -- no doubt with Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde in hot pursuit. International production and...
  4. Double D-kONG

Have Mikes arcade do it, he is the best. What ever you do, stay away from Electronic Amuesments, I sent my board back in April and still have not recieved it back. Scotty
  5. Super Auctions in Kyle, TX

I drove by this place on my way to San Antonio this weekend. Pretty big place. probably not going to be too much for the collector unless you are looking for newer stuff. And it is right in front of the local dirt track "Thunder Hills Raceway", so who knows the condition of the equipment. Drunk...
  6. Just Getting Into Arcade Collection

One thing about the November Auction is it is probably going to be higher than usual price wise. We are used to having them every 2 months is part of it and the last one now was in August. Another reason is that it is close to Christmas. Present buying time, so the clasics are going to be real...
  7. Is this price correct?

That is way off base. If someone actually pays that, I'll sell them the Brooklynn Bridge also. To put into perspective, probably the most sought after pin is Big Bang Bar, a Capcom Prototype. These, when and if one is sold, go for around 10 to 15 thousand, and there were about 10 or so made...
  8. Auctions on GameRoomClassifieds.com

man, I seem to have a popular auction. too bad I don't actually get that money. http://www.gameroomclassifieds.com/auction/cgi-bin/auction.pl?item=11031764296
  9. ot?

Yep, still can, just takes a lot longer now. Scott
  10. ot?

There is no set amount of time but to give you an estimate, it could take months of having the same image shown all the time on it. If you leave your monitor on all the time, change your screen saver every few days. Otherwise you should not have to worry about it. Scotty
  11. leaving hobby

Valley Gaming, just an FYI, leaving your phone number on a public forum is usually a bad idea. You never know which of the village idiots (**coughlesliecough**)might start calling and harrassing you. You might want to edit your post, again, just trying to help a little.
  12. Help starting an arcade

There is a place doing pretty good outside of Ft Worth. Tornado Terrys. Not to bad. He works on a cover charge scheme. You pay 9 bucks and you play till you leave. He doesn't have the newest games, some are in shabby shape, like the Gaplus, but he has a pretty nice selection and he trys to keep...
  13. coinopexpress

Don't know, but remeber, you still have to pay for shipping, and from Hong Kong, it ain't going to be cheap. Best way to get started is to look at auctions. Check Superauctions.com and US Amuesments for the cloestest in your area. I think both of them have auction sites in reasonable driving...

Please remember everyone, Punctuation is our friend. Scotty
  15. Selling my collection

Why Ed, Why?? Oh, by he way, I owe you 10 bucks since I gave away the rest of that stuff. Was just going to give it back to you at the next auction... Too bad I'm broke. Do you take monthly instalments?
