G'day guys,
I have a pile of these Kortek chassis pulled from a bunch of 20 inch (as we call them in the Southern Hemisphere) generic, New Zealand-made cabs.
I'd say I have around a dozen of these chassis and 4 matching A48 Samsung tubes. I'd be happy if I could scavenge parts to eventually...
I just got hold of 10 faulty 26" Kortek boards at a bargain price. I will check if any of the model numbers match yours. Only problem is that I'm in New Zealand so, even if I gift you the remote, the postage might be prohibitive. :(
Thanks again for the advice guys!
I've now ordered the following:
• Hakko 808
• Hakko HFX-888
• Atlas ESR70
That should keep me occupied for a while! Looking forward to playing with my new toys... :)
Thanks for the replies, guys!
Sounds like I can't go too far wrong with a Hakko soldering and de-soldering setup!
I appreciate the feedback as I didn't want to take the plunge and then find out that I'd thrown my money at a piece of junk.
Currently weighing up between the Hakko 808 and 474...
