That did it. I cut the line for the test switch and all is now working. Thank you!

Yes, I think the connector is removed was going to the control panel. Now just have to figure out why it is stuck in test mode, wiring, connector or board.

I removed the smaller connector and it now seem to boot up showing 6 ships for 1 or 2 players, but will not start a game and no sound. It goes into attract mode with game demo.

The old power supply is badly burnt.

Original power supply was bad, so I got the Midway Power Supply Kit #2 from Arcadeshop. Instructions say "Unplug the short 12 pin connector at location J2 from the board. (this will no longer be used)" I think this is strange. I am sure it has some purpose. Maybe the rank lights?? Anyway, I...
