    More Baby Pac-Man issues... :(

Ok, I give up. I reseated (and cleaned) the ICs in there, and it does the exact same thing. I don't have the patience for this any more. Between my job throwing me into situations where I have to figure everything out (a whole different story) and this. I just can't. It's supposed to be a fun...

    More Baby Pac-Man issues... :(

Thank you all so much for the help!!! @SaminVA I actually did see that (thank you so much for replying!), although I don't believe that is the problem... only for the fact that it was working fine for a few years up until about a month or two ago, when this started happening out of nowhere...

Thank you! - in the video I count the flashes; both boards are making it all the way through (Vidiot 10 flashes, and MPU 7 flashes). The MPU board (top right) is the first one I replaced a long time ago due to the battery leak corrosion.

BTW, the black .156 headers I 3-D printed, because I didn't have any (but I had the pins for some reason) :blinky: Also, I don't know why the video is corrupting like that; it didn't do that when I watched it on my workstation and only showed up after YouTube's 'conversion'.

Hello all: I've uploaded another video, showing the diagnostic lights for the MPU and Vidiot board, and a closer look at what happens. Any suggestions are welcome, and thank you.

I will record the flashes for each board, and post it here. I'm pretty sure both boards make it through all of the flashes they are supposed to. I will do this too. Thank you all.

As long as we aren't breaking any forum rules, I have no problem with it... In fact, I'm still in the middle of replacing all of the headers, but so far nothing has helped. If it gets to the point where I've replaced all of the headers and it still does the same thing, I may take you up on...

    More Baby Pac-Man issues... :(

Thank you for the replies all... I put it down for a bit because I was getting frustrated. I will try the suggestions mentioned above in a bit and report back. Thank you!

It seems like every time I turn it on something else is wrong now. I'm debating just selling it as not-working. Thanks, all...

    More Baby Pac-Man issues... :(

Hey all... Hope all is well... Any of you gurus that have had experience fixing Baby Pac-Man machines, this one just started having problems out of the blue. A few months ago, it worked fine. I turned it on last week and the below happens. I hope someone has some insight... Thanks guys...

Let's RGB mod a 9" TV for science!

Thank you - I was only doing this to see what I could make of this basically 1/2 scale arcade monitor (to me). I was hoping for something under $100 in case I inadvertently ruin the CRT. I honestly don't mean any disrespect, and I do appreciate the help, but if that's how much the chassis for...

Let's RGB mod a 9" TV for science!

I've seen wildly fluxuating prices on those; from $100 to $300... Nothing ever under $100... What should they go for?

Let's RGB mod a 9" TV for science!

I did; I just have a feeling it's going to be next to impossible for me to get a k7000 chassis - especially for a halfway decent price. :(

Let's RGB mod a 9" TV for science!

Damn. That's what I was afraid of. From what I've seen, I'll never find a chassis for a 9 inch tube. Thank you for your reply!

Let's RGB mod a 9" TV for science!

Hello all - sorry to revive an old thread, but I've acquired a 9 inch CRT, and I'm trying to use one of these to drive it (picture attached). The 'universal chassis' was connected temporarily to a 19" monitor and the picture was beautiful, so I know it works fine. I'm trying to find the...
