  1. dip switch settings for Cisco Heat

No, but I have a copy of that manual as well. This is the manual I bought:
  2. How To: Recreate the horn assembly on Cisco Heat

I figured I would post this up, in case anyone else buys a machine missing a horn assembly. I was unable to find one, so I made one. I started by buying a big button from eBay: The fit was perfect, but the microswitch assembly would not fit in the space provided: The original setup had a...
  3. WTB: Cisco Heat parts and Manual

OK, just picked up a horn button that I believe I will be able to make work for me. So I guess that's off my list.
  4. dip switch settings for Cisco Heat

I found a service manual online, so I bought it, and it should be here within a week. I am interested in seeing if the dip switch settings are different between the stand up and sit down cabinets.
  5. WTB: Cisco Heat parts and Manual

Picked up a service manual... still interested in other parts
  6. dip switch settings for Cisco Heat

I ended up installing a momentary switch on the back of the cabinet, and wiring it so that I can add credits at the touch of a button, outside the cabinet. I have tested it out, and it works great! Now I just need to figure out how to set skill level, as the settings in the online manual don't...
  7. Money found in games you bought.

On my newest buy (Cisco Heat), I didn't have keys for any of the doors on it. I popped a quarter in to test it out, and I heard a "clink clink clink" as it hit the change box. I was excited, thinking there was some money in it. I had to remove the coin box from the rear anyway, to give me...
  8. dip switch settings for Cisco Heat

ok, there is a down side to having it set like this. You no longer get all of the graphics cycling through when the machine is in idle. It has the gray scale screen that says "99 credits", and the music plays continuously. So I guess I have to mess around with it a little more, to see if I...
  9. dip switch settings for Cisco Heat

Messing around, I found that if I switch all of the switches on SW301 to "on", I finally get free play. Just having 7 and 8 on didn't work for me. I have tried adjusting the skill level and continue ability, but it doesn't seem to work for me.
  10. dip switch settings for Cisco Heat

just some pics for reference: I wanted to clean up the boards a little better anyway, so I figured I would snap the pics. There are 3 Dip switches on the CH-9073A board. SW301 and SW302 have 8 switches, SW303 has 4 switches. I did DL the manual for the sit down machine, but it seems...
  11. dip switch settings for Cisco Heat

I am in the process of pulling all the boards to clean them up(dusty due to fan). The middle board is CH-9071, didn't see the designation until I had the top board off. It kinda scares me that the wooden base says "Sample" on it. Serial number is D-1119 though, so I doubt it was one of the first.
  12. dip switch settings for Cisco Heat

Sorry man, I do a lot of travelling for work, and don't take my big laptop with me. My netbook isn't the best for surfing forums. My main board is a CH-9073A, the middle board does not have a designation, and the bottom board is a CH-9072. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
  13. dip switch settings for Cisco Heat

I have had no luck so far finding a manual for my style Cisco Heat cabinet. I had thought that possibly the sit down cabinet would have the same boards, but I guess I was wrong. The dip switch settings in the sit down manual are different. I also found a site that gave dip switch information...
  14. What was your favorite game as a kid and do you own one know!!

My favorite by far was Ivan Stewart's Super Off Road 3 player. My brother and I spent every quarter we could find on that game. I finally was able to cut a deal with my wife 6-8 months ago, and picked one up. It needed some work, but I have been able to fix it up, and it's 100% functional...
