Funny how you say this, because I played mine at a Majik Market, not on the way to school, but in my neighborhood, and Venture was right beside a Defender Machine that had the Susan B Anthony coin door which took a Susan B Anthony coin from me that I got from exchanging return for deposit coca...
I remember playing Dragon's Lair there for the first time after they advertised it on TV and wasting two tokens instead of one. I stood in line for about an hour maybe longer just to play for about 15 seconds.
Those were the days. I do not have to wait in line to play it anymore though.
Thanks for clearing this up. I always wondered what was wrong with me. I had the Inoculation shot 35 years later. It was the most expensive cartridge on the Colecovision system and saved up everything to get it. 55 dollars in 1982? A lot of money to an 11 year old, but I thought it was worth...
That is fantastic!
Whoa what a small world!
I have never bought a game from DC but I have come close. I have a lot of respect for him how long he has done this and what he has done for the movie industry as far as arcades go.
Does anyone on this thread outside of Georgia even know who you are talking about?
I mean I do.....I know David Countryman is a legend, but he is really, to my knowledge, not very active on forums such as this.
