Agreed about today's "games". In the golden age, you had to be creative and come up with new and original concepts; something as seemingly minor as the sounds of Space Invaders or Pac Man made a big difference. Someone came up with the idea of spinning around geometrical shapes and Tempest was...
1967 baby here. I was there for the beginning through the golden age and beyond. It seems like every memorable experience from those years had an arcade game attached in some way to it, even the simplest ones. Riding my bike to 7-11 in the summer and playing Galaxian while drinking a Slurpee...
Repro?
I went with what I had and came up with this, for lack of better photos. I could clean it up considerably if I had a high-res scan or a set of photos that could be stitched.
Generally speaking, when you guys restore cabinets, are you restoring to their ORIGINAL specs (in which case it would just need to be done again in 20 years) or are you finishing them with more durable materials?
I'm not sure of the level of precision you're after, but I threw this one together to fill the hole in my set one day. It could be tweaked to fit what you want.

Wow cpo
See attached. I'm done with it at this point. Maybe this will be of use to someone, maybe not. People have gotten stingy with their scans lately, so this will probably be my final project.
Well... I traced the image some time back... (attached). Admittedly, the trace is only as good as the source image I used. As far as printing it, you're on your own. If you want the vector file, give me an email address to send it to.
Wizard of Wor CPO
I'm about 2/3 of the way finished with a vector repro of this. All those hundreds of red squiggles in the background take some time, but it's looking nice so far. Will keep you posted.
Re: Alt Beast
You mean a physical one or just the artwork file? The MAME site has the image available in its artwork files, but the CPO image is one I've been looking for myself.
Still no luck getting traceable photos of this, but I got this far. If anyone knows what the missing symbols are on the "keypad", input would be appreciated.
