Dont know if you still need the help but I just changed my soul Edge ver II to a Tekken 2 and I didnt want to mess with the board so I just jumped the 56 pin and the 48 pin inputs. Ran a wire (spliced) from 24 (on the 56 pin) to 19 (on the 48) and 24b(on the 56) to b8 (on the 48). Works...

Was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on what type of joystick to put in a mortal kombat II cabinet? It seems like a competition 8-way wouldnt work out too well for the type of moves you have to do. Is optical a better choice? Any help would be appreciated.
