Where is the best place to find pot

I know this is an old thread, but I just replaced my gas pedal potentiometer yesterday in my San Francisco Rush the Rock Alcatraz Edition, and I used a different pot than it called for, and it works great. I used: Clarostat RV4NAYSD502A (found mine on ebay for $6 shipped). I soldered it in...

FS Parts: Star Wars Upright Cabinet Artwork

Here are some pics as requested. It is the 2 side arts and the kick panel. I didn't unroll the whole thing but this should give you an idea of what they are (if you don't already know what Phoenix Arcades artwork is like).

Problem with super mario (MW) pinball drop targets...

Yeah, I have a hard time hitting the ramp too (those little tube holes near the flippers make catching the ball on the right flipper pretty difficult). I have a little flipper plastic spacer thing that came with my machine (it was in the guts when I was cleaning it out). There is also a little...

Problem with super mario (MW) pinball drop targets...

That's funny that you ask this, because I actually watched your youtube vid pretty carefully to see if your little ramp shroud did anything too, mine is the same, works in attract, but does nothing during the game (seems like it should do something). They look like power ups (flower, leaf...

Problem with super mario (MW) pinball drop targets...

Problem with super mario (MW) pinball drop targets... I picked up a Super Mario Bros. Mushroom World pinball a little while ago and have been working on it since. I think I have everything pretty well fixed on it except for one thing that has me stumped. It's sort of hard to explain, so I...

    Pac-Man Baby Blanket...

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this (we can move it if it isn't), but I wanted to post about this awesome baby blanket my sister knit for my youngest. There are lots of pics and info on the blanket on my wifes blog: http://melarky.com/?p=3103

Nice Super Mario Bros. Mushroom World Pinball Score (and not the points kind!)

This makes me want to get the full size one, I'm sure it's a blast. I've never played the full size mario cab, but I hear most people rank it among Gottliebs best. My only other pin I own is a Williams Tri-Zone. It's fun, but I actually like this mario better so far (little bit like comparing...

Nice Super Mario Bros. Mushroom World Pinball Score (and not the points kind!)

Need to replace some lights, ordered a rubber ring kit last night, and also got 2 new flippers (one of the flippers is cracking, the rubber is missing from it so I'm sure it's been like that a while and has been punished by the previous owner, so I will just replace them both). It needs a good...

Nice Super Mario Bros. Mushroom World Pinball Score (and not the points kind!)

Nice Super Mario Bros. Mushroom World Pinball Score (and not the points kind!) I scored a nice Super Mario Bros. Mushroom World pinball yesterday (it's the smaller redemption style, but still fun). Someone listed it locally on the classifieds as a "parts machine" and asked for best offer...

Best arcade repair info for newbies?

Don't hate me, but I don't know how to do any of this :( I just about maxed out my multi meter skills with checking those fuses, don't really know how I would go about testing that cap. Don't know where to put the leads, don't know if the game has to be on when I'm checking or just plugged in...

Best arcade repair info for newbies?

Ok, I grabbed some pics of the inside of the cab. I didn't see the filter board, I think it goes from the power supply to a sound board to the graphics board, but I don't know, I am just guessing. Let me know if you need a photo of something in particular, I wasn't really sure what to get...

Best arcade repair info for newbies?

I did test the fuses with my multi-meter (using the continuity or beep test). They all checked out. What pics would you like me to post? I'm guessing the power supply is the board on the bottom of the cab that had the fuses in it. It looks like the main game pcb is in a cage, but I didn't...

Best arcade repair info for newbies?

I want to get my crystal castles working again (it went dead a while ago, I can hear the screen turn on, but nothing, no sound and no video). I am not a very handy guy, but I would like to learn. I know enough to check the fuses, but other than that, I'm not really sure what people mean when...
