Havent found a dead tranassistor do u have a number for it? Does it not look like verical collapse in the video? I have the board out but not seeing anything bad, can you tell me what ones to focus on? I really want to getthis thing repaired, anyone else have suggestion please specific

Ok I was able to restore color to the monitor by replacing R811, thanks Ken. The only issue now and is when looking at black background text has like red green and blue to it, like subtle 3d. Instead of it all being stacked on top of eachother the colors are spread a bit so its not real refined...

I have the service manual but having trouble locating that is it on the main board ? Also I saw someone that had replaced this and it maintained a B&W screen what would be the next cause if that were true?

Ok on the chassis part theres a stick that says Replace only with K7500 Pictures online seem to show its a k7500 but through google I cant find much on it being black and white Thank you for the help

Hi Ken, on the back it says Made in usa HITATCHI TYPE : A68KRQ58X

I got a good deal on a rush the rock its fully working and playable but the screen is black and white. Do you think is could be the 3dfx card causing that or the monitor? What are some standard troubleshooting I can try for this color problem. Thanks everyone

Was wondering if we could compare the cables going to the board to see if it would be backward compt with silent scope 3 wiring. I would love to make a 3 in 1 if i can but dont want to buy the boards without knowing

Well you were right, its just the speaker. So that is great and easy fix, is there any tricks to revive a dead speaker ? Or should I order a new one?

Thank you for the comment. I will try swapping the speakers with the working one on the left and see if it comes on. I'll let you know, I didn't know speakers ever really went bad but someone could of spilled something down it 6 years ago for all I know. It was defiantly gross under there.

I acquired a Silent scope EX, it plays perfect but only the left speaker works. When I do audio test in service menu it proves the same. I opened the non working speaker and dusted it off, its all hooked up.. I cant really see where the wires lead to. On the board it seems everything is plugged...
