    Go7 13" will Not Hsync

Oooops! I just retrieved my Monitor from the garage to work on it some more...... Guess what?.... Yep.... It IS a 19" monitor!!........ A question I have now is: Are the boards which control these monitors Physically different? I am asking because I am now wondering if what I might have could...

    Go7 13" will Not Hsync

'K... Just cross referenced my list with one that comes with the 13" kit.... Looks like 6 capacitors will change, and possibly one resistor. ...Sounds easy enough. Thanks again guys. I'll let you know how it turns out! Cheers.

    Go7 13" will Not Hsync

Well, this is embarrassing ..... I took a look at the parts list that came with my kit.... As clear as daylight.... Across the top it reads: "Electrohome Go7-CBO 19" Monitor" Hmmmm..... Sounds "encouraging" in the sense that this would explain a lot, however, I hope there is not TOO many part...

    Go7 13" will Not Hsync

Encouraging to hear that the HOT is not an issue. As for the additional information: 1) I'll double check this! I have been working out of town for the past year, and it *IS* possible that I may have ordered the wrong kit! (Is there an "easy" way to distinguish the two kits based upon which...

    Go7 13" will Not Hsync

I recently installed a new flyback and cap-kit (from The Real Bob Roberts) for a GO7 Monitor. For about four days now, I have read just about anything and everything I have been able to locate regarding the issue I am having, and am running out of options: It appears that all is working "OK"...

Please help. Cruis'n USA Sound is not working.

Please help. Cruis\'n USA Sound is not working. First a little background: I purchased a Midway Cruis'n USA board set. It came with the main Motherboard and also the "wheel driver" board. Last night I finally was able to verify that most of it works (I had issues finding a working 25KHz...

    Galaxian Audio Amplifier issue

Thanks. I will take a close look at my wiring again. I have exchanged Galaxian boards using the same Jamma adapter, so I am more concerned that perhaps there is a difference between the way that the DC conversion was done. (I have noticed that there are several approaches to AC-to-DC mods)...

I also received an email from Mark stating that he was back in business. I agree totally with you that he should have "his day in court" here for all of us. IF he is honorable enough to do this, AND he handles it with integrity, then perhaps he should be provided another chance. However, during...

    Galaxian Audio Amplifier issue

I am working on a Midway Galaxian which appears to function, but the heatsink on the Audio Amp gets very hot after only a minute or so of operation. Obviously, the designer(s) put the massive heatsink on this part for a good reason, but the heatsink itself gets hot enough to feel like it is...

    Galaga issue

By "jumbled up" do you mean that parts of the sprites are recognizable, yet appear to be in the wrong place(s), or do you mean that they look like uninitialized "garbage"? Another question: Are the character graphics affected? IOW do you see the Text at the top where it reads "score" etc...

    Galaga Sprites with Horizontal Stripes

It just occurred to me that you may have been referring to Congo Bongo, not Galaga! If so disregard my previous post. Sometimes my fingers work faster than my brain. And I don't type that fast either.

    Galaga Sprites with Horizontal Stripes

-What problem(s) are you having? -Not sure if I can be of any help, but I am curious. Is there another thread describing the problem?

I have an "extra" Galaga CPU board, and am looking for a Video board to complete it.

    Galaga Sprites with Horizontal Stripes

I found the problem last night: Pin 21 of IC 4H was bent under itself instead of being seated into the socket. I tried to straighten it out in spite of my suspicion that it would break (and yes -it did) So I replaced it with another and now the video board works fine! Although the ROMs...
