  • Hi, Please , Would you know ,does the defender game use what's called "direct memory access" (DMA) on the later CPU board type? I'm working through the theory,,,
    its not virtual, so it must be? that brings other pins on the CPU to focus on as well.

    Defender and Stargate do not use DMA (these are the Special Chips introduced on Robotron). I thought it was rad that DMA for later games was referenced in Defender Theory of Operation though lol

    Hi, i read your post and i'm very sorry to hear of issues your going through. i'm in the board repair business located in vegas and i'm always looking for boards/advice etc for arcade/slots/pinball etc so i'll help where i can do you have a list of what your thinking of selling?
