  1. Found this stuff in latest pickup

The blue cubes with tabs on them are, as mentioned above, Construx toys. They were one of my favorite toys as a kid, second only probably to Legos.
  2. WG 27" K7500 Tube Swap Question

The problem exists with the yoke all the way forward. It's also still there if you pull the yoke back a bit and tilt it in different directions. Does your board also have a resistor where the manual says a cap should be and vice versa?
  3. WG 27" K7500 Tube Swap Question

Any info you can post would help. Does yours also have all the discrepancies from the info in the service manual like mine does?
  4. WG 27" K7500 Tube Swap Question

Anybody? Should i try to find a different pincushion board? I'd really like to get this game back together and working.
  5. WG 27" K7500 Tube Swap Question

I've finally gotten around to taking a closer look at the pincushion board, and it really appears to be a mess. The board is labeled "P777" as the service manual indicates it should be, but beyond that there are some major discrepancies. I checked the values of all the resistors and they...
  6. WG 27" K7500 Tube Swap Question

I checked the pot with my multimeter and it seems to work fairly smoothly from 2 ohms up to 5300 ohms. I removed the resistor (457 ohms) and put the pot back in the circuit but turning it has no effect on the screen. Could the pot be bad even though it checks out with the multimeter? The donor...
  7. WG 27" K7500 Tube Swap Question

I have the board and I adjusted it the best I can. It looks like someone has messed with it before though. One of the legs on VR-771 has been lifted and a resistor has been soldered across it on the solder-side of the board. Are conversion strips the white tape on the neck tube? If so, I...
  8. WG 27" K7500 Tube Swap Question

Well, I got the picture looking decent enough for the game to at least be playable, but I can't get it just right. The sides of the picture are bowed in pretty bad and the convergence seems to be off. Any ideas?
  9. WG 27" K7500 Tube Swap Question

I was in front of the monitor when it happened so can't really say precisely where it came from. It only happened once; I haven't heard anymore popping. Is the DAG wire the one that connects to the spring-tensioned wire on the back of the tube? If so, then yes. This is my picture now:
  10. WG 27" K7500 Tube Swap Question

I just heard a snapping/cracking sound and the screen went dim for a split second and then came back. Is it still safe to adjust the yoke with my hand?
  11. WG 27" K7500 Tube Swap Question

Ok, I feel like an idiot now. I just looked at the chassis and there's an H-hold pot right there in the open. Thanks Buffet.
  12. WG 27" K7500 Tube Swap Question

WG 27" K7500 Tube Swap Question The space on the remote board labled H-hold is unpopulated. Is there another way to adjust that?
  13. WG 27" K7500 Tube Swap Question

WG 27" K7500 Tube Swap Question I found a tube to swap into my K7500 and installed it. It's an RCA A68ADT19X01. By moving the yoke back and forth and adjusting the pots on the neckboard I'm able to get mostly pure red, green, and blue rasters. However, I can't get a clear picture. With...
  14. a steal for $68,000 right??

Clearly, what makes his lot so "larg" is the "pro-type" Joust 2 that "just being" sitting in his garage. Unfortunately, he will not sell "this games" individually; "the answer is no, no."
  15. UD-CPS2 (consolized CPS2)

The controller from that system was sold in the US with cables for both the SNES and NES. I still have mine.
