I know one of the caps were in location 308. It called for a 2.2 x 50 and i had a 22 x 50 instead.
However the cap installed backwards didn't explode. So I am questioning my observation about that....
Best of luck to those who have simular problems.
Mike
Hey knohbody,
Thanks for the past replies......
Found the problem.... it was a combination of mistakes I made with the wrong cap values installed 2.2uf instead of a 22uf and one installed backwards.
Thanks for all of your suggestions.
Mike
So I took a look at the SYNC, all is well.
I borrowed a Test Pattern Generator from a distant friend and was able to get the following pictures of my problem.
Any good recomendations? I don't even know how to describe my problem in technical terms.
Hello,
I recently picked up a Ms PAC Man cocktail table at my local garage sale wit no picture, (probably a blown fuse according to the owner.)... Whatever. I got it for $50.
I got it home and started investigating. The monitor chassis was B+ was measured at 160v. I followed the flow chart and...
Thanks, now I need to try and explain the situation to the person who bought me the monitor in for repair. He was under the impression it was a simple fix.......
Bummer for him.
Does anybody have one for sale???? The monitor I picked up not working (flat Line)..... I believe it’s because the control card is gone.....
Thanks,
Mike
Since I have posted last I found my problem. It was one of the two Resistors R13 or R27, whichever controlled Red Mouth. I replaced them both due to age, I didn't want the the other resistor to cause the same problem down the road.
Yea, I sent one a while ago and never got a response.... I read between the lines.... lol
Since the fly-back is not available is there an replacement chassis one could try? G07 ???
Hello Chad,
Thank you for your time, however the monitor chassis does not look like the one you have posted
Here is the chassis, front vie and rear view.... The only card i did not include was the adjustment card.
Thank you,
Mike
