Power issue was the notorious fuse block on midway cabs. Solved. Monitor drove me nuts so I replaced with a K7000 I had in my shed. Life is all good now. :)

Thank you Mark, I was hoping you would chime in. I almost messaged you directly on FB. It does occasionally produce a Bad Ram 2 error which the troubleshooting guide points to bad 2114's, so I'll replace those next. When the character errors show up and I put it into test mode, it stuggles...
