Here are the waveforms on the repaired chassis. Yes I had switched the wires on the collector and emitter. The Capacitor was wired correctly.

I swapped out x501 and scoped the collector of X01. The waveform is basically no change---it still has the second small peak in between the large peak---which is not correct. When I probed the collector of x501 with my multimeter it do 2 things I don't understand. 1.) grounded my image on...

Here are photos of the X501 collector before, and after swap of known good T501. Also here is the photo of the X01 collector. The smaller peak is still there when it should not be so I am assuming that there is still an issue.

I have not checked T501 yet. I wanted to go check upstream as far as I thought necessary to a spot where I figured things were good. Pin 10 of IC501 has the correct voltage and the waveform looks reasonable to me, so for now, I am going to assume that from there upstream is good. If for...
