Thanks for the advice about looking at the voltage...i checked the connection to the power supply and it was extremely loose. After some light wiggling both the music and sounds are back so it looks like I will have to looks like maybe the connection is broken. I will update the thread as I go

While the machine was on i was just moving the sound board and the digital sounds came back but still no music or credit noise. Not sure if this is a problem with the sound board or a chip on the CPU board
