I opened mine to clean it. 11 years worth of dust was starting to show through the fan and vents so I figured I might as well clean the board while I had the B board off getting a new battery.
thanks for the help guys. i guess they are all like that because mine was a complete pain in the ass. i finally got it after gouging the hell of of the posts on both sides and snapping a small screwdriver tip. they should have just put the nut and bolt like they do on the B board.
for anyone...
In the CPS2 "A" board there is a capcom security pin with the C logo on it. It is round on both sides and there isn't enough room to get at it with anything I have. How the hell do you get this thing out?
Thanks.
Just wanted to update... replaced the power supply and it fired right up. Big thanks to the guys at Happ's for getting me a power supply with a remote switch.

Will some automotive 4x6's work on this machine...
Is there anywhere I can get a power supply that already has the molex connectors and is ready to go? All the ones I have seen on Bob Robert's page and elsewhere require splicing the wires to the new power supply. I'd be willing to pay extra for a plug-n-play model.
Okay, there is something seriously messed up with my power supply.
In the wire group on the top left going out of the screen, not a single one of those wires showed any power running through them. Red, yellow, black, and white all showed nearly nothing.
The wire group inside the rubber...
Alien vs. Predator down for the count... help please!
Hey guys, just picked up my first arcade game today. It worked great when I picked it up. Got it home and played it for a little bit and then turned it off. Turned it back on and it didn't want to come on anymore. Now I am just trying to...
