Don't be a nancy....crank up the 5+ and see if the garbage goes away and the game boots. Its not going to blow up on you! Turm the pot an eighth of a turn, check you voltage.....take it up to 5.25 in increments to see what happens. You might get lucky.....good luck!

You need the tron/et al mcr replacement scsi cables.... http://www.therealbobroberts.net/mcr.html. Also, when you adjust the voltage, that pot is on the linear power supply board. The ssio is included with the 3 board stack that is connected via those ribbon cables.

Adjust the 5 volts up to see what happens and if you can get the board to boot. My spy hunter has been running fine for the last couple of years at 5.2 to 5.25 and I didn't damage anything leaving it running that way. Reseat the board stack interconnect cables. If they are the original paper...
