    Restored games running jrok boards

The right thing to do as a seller, is full disclosure. Explain that the CRT has been replaced by a LCD or the original PCB's were replaced with a modern equivalent.

Yes, andrewb is correct. I didn't mean he died, just retired... I enjoyed the moon pies, made me smile :-)

    What happened to biltronix

The site is no longer up. I know about the archive... Just curious if he may passed. We lost "The Real Bob Roberts" and I know their were others. I'm almost 60, so some of us that were active 25-30 years ago are timing out. He programmed me some solid state replacements for BiPolar ROMs...

    BattleZone Cabaret issues

I have reseated every chip and connector. Even used a loupe to look for any bad/cold solder joints (everything was reflowed back in the day) I have repaired many late 70's-80's arcade, pins and slots, so I am familiar with the normal things to do. PCB connectors look good and I did deoxit the...

    BattleZone Cabaret issues

The 5vdc tested @ 4.976 I tied the ground and 5vdc between the PCB's just to be sure of any loss in the edge connectors.

Fired it up this week and it ran for 3 hours in attract mode, no issues. I had to go to the store so I turned...

FS Parts: FS: Cosmic Chasm CPO's

Looks awesome ! A job well done. In the 90's I bought a Cosmic Chasm from a local OP, the very one I played as a child in the arcade. The overlay was mostly peeled off. I looked for years and years for a CP and never found one. I finally sold my CC in 2008 for $3500 on ebay. I would say if...

    Kortek Sum-20C help

A buddy brought over a MK1 in a conversion cab. It has a Wico / Kortek SUM-20C monitor. The monitor seems tired... It lacks sharpness, brightness and weak focus. I get a picture after ten seconds or so, and picture quality gets a bit better after five minutes. Has a slow HuLa... but no burn...

FS Parts: New Atari AVG chip replacements available

Back in the day I had a Space Duel and a Black Widow that needed an AVG replacement. My symptoms for both machines were the same. I recall fixing a few others for someone else. On power up, they would both just sit there and go click, click click. The sound was coming from the coin door...
