Looking for a hard or medium version of the Gravity Hill plastic mountain. My kids have aced the easy version and looking for one of the harder upgrades, yet can't find them in stock anywhere. If you have one or know where I might go to obtain one of these more difficult versions, please let...
Sweet, a suicide knob with no limiter. That'll teach me to mess around in there.
No tube rejuvenator, but this will be a good board for me to mess with, so will still try to fix the board and then can use on a matching tube, if mine is indeed toast.
On another note, can someone tell me what...
Resistor changed and put in a new fuse, powered up and fuse blows immediately. Could this be due to a bad T2? That's the fried component in the image 5031.
Alright, I think my schematic is M2929D-62/M2929D1-62, as everything seems to match up. This would mean that R10 is a 1k resistor. Looking back at the knobs, I think I was adjusting the HV Adj (I'm assuming this means high voltage.......) from the chassis when the board blew, as the B+ seems...
I Emailed Chad and then called him and left a message about a week ago, but still no response. However, everyone's got their own stuff going on, so I understand if people are backed up. In the meantime, I've been looking over this board more and more and there's actually not much that "looks"...
As I've been doing more research now that I'm going to attempt this repair, would upping the B+ knob have done this kind of damage? I'm thinking I may have mistakenly adjusted this knob when messing with the image, and instead of the board grounding, I may have just been thrown off when...
Man, I've checked with numerous techs across the states and many don't even offer CRT repairs any longer, and have yet to find one tech who will work on Wei-Ya CRTs. At this point, I'm going to follow everyone's advice and try to repair it myself, but am having a hard time finding the schematic...
I greatly appreciate the response. I'm not too worried about price (at least at the range you stated) or turn-around time, but I think due to my issue may be why people just don't want to deal with it. If I do end up working on it myself, I'll post updates on what got shorted and what I...
While all the specs check out, my model ends in D1G-6, so not sure how interchangeable this is. Good to hear that Chad is still doing work, as I've had awesome dealings with him in the past. It's been about 2 weeks since I wrote him, but I'm sure he's busy just like everyone else these days...
Bump for a game to be more than a 500lb paper weight.
If not suggestions on what to identify in a fix, any recommendations for who still does chassis work would be awesome!
I hate monitor repairs and the only issue this monitor was having was not being able to adjust the horizontal size from the remote board. Went to do some adjustments at the pots on the chassis with power on, board shifted into the bezel (I think the transistor tower), and sparks flew...
To answer questions about shipping, yes, I can ship and wrap this, but you would need to set up with the shipper. If picking up, this unit does separate from the large base plate, making transportation "somewhat" easier.
Dragon Punch boxing arcade machine up for sale for $900. Have never had any issues with it while owning. Let me know if you have any questions or need additional photos.
A member over on ArcadeControls had me restore the itouch10 image straight to the CF card on the JVL with the "machine locked" error. Plugged the CF back into motherboard and things boots and plays! Going to try this with the other CFs over the weekend and see if that clears up my other errors.
This is getting laughably ridiculous. I received my itouch10 cd in the mail and went to try a fresh install on the JVL with the "machine locked" error. The cd doesn't seem to load correctly and just holds up the system for a while, where it's then booted to the same locked error. However, I...
